The Governing Body at Buxton Infant School wish to appoint a positive and enthusiastic person to join our team of midday supervisors.
Duties will include supervising the children during their lunchtime from 11:55 to 13:20 each day; encouraging active play and ensuring the welfare and safety of pupils. Previous experience of working with children (including raising own) is desirable and knowledge of basic first aid is expected.
The appointed person will be someone who can build excellent relationships with our children, the midday team, teaching staff and have a willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.

Duties include vacuuming, polishing, dusting, mopping and waste disposal. The successful candidate will need to be a key holder.
Hours are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday & Friday – 4.00pm – 6.00pm
Wednesday & Thursday – 3.00pm – 6.00pm

School Business Assistant (Clerk to Governors)

The Governors are seeking to recruit a suitable individual to support the work of our Governing Board. The post requires attendance to all meetings of the Full Governing Board currently held 6 times per annum during school term time.
The ideal candidate will be capable of organising meetings, preparing agendas, accurately recording minutes and disseminating information in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good degree of IT literacy are essential.
